A Trust Built for Education
Sarkar-E-Khalsa International Incorporated is an incorporated association established to advance education through practical, community-focused support. Active from 19 Aug 2024 and based publicly in Canberra, Australia, the trust exists to help remove barriers to learning while supporting educational growth across communities.
Its work is grounded in service, accountability, and long-term impact rather than short-term promotion. The trust brings together structured support, clear purpose, and responsible leadership to strengthen educational opportunities in both Punjab, India and the Canberra region.
Supporting Learning With Purpose
The trust supports education through two distinct but connected pathways. Its primary focus is free education for needy students in Punjab, where it adopts and financially supports selected educational institutions.
Its secondary focus is supporting language, languages, and cultural learning in the Canberra region through a fee-based initiative. Together, these efforts reflect a wider commitment to educational access, cultural connection, and community development.
The trust’s role is to direct support where it can create real value for learners, families, and educational communities.

How Our Support Model Works
The trust follows a clear support model built around ongoing educational needs. Rather than focusing on acquiring land, buildings, furniture, or large infrastructure, it directs funding towards the running expenses of institutions it supports.
This may include monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual operating support, depending on the needs of the institution.
This approach allows the trust to contribute in a practical, sustainable, and accountable way. It is designed to help educational institutions continue serving students effectively through stable and purposeful financial support.
From Punjab to Canberra
The trust’s work connects two important educational settings. In Punjab, India, it supports free education by adopting and financially supporting an active school initiative for students from Nursery to Class 12.
In the Canberra region, Australia, it supports a language and cultural learning initiative that serves students from Year 1 to Year 12 through after-school and weekend school.
These two areas of work are different in structure, but both reflect the trust’s wider purpose: supporting education, strengthening community learning, and helping preserve language and cultural identity.
Led by Community Commitment
The trust is guided by a leadership team committed to responsible governance and community service. Its published committee includes Avtar Singh as President, Sarbjeet Kaur as Secretary, Davinder Singh Sidhu as Treasurer, Kamaljeet Singh as Committee Member, and Jagtar Singh as Committee Member.
Together, they provide direction for the trust’s educational focus, funding priorities, and long-term planning.
Their leadership helps ensure the trust remains organised, transparent, and committed to meaningful educational support while staying aligned with its purpose and responsibilities as an incorporated association.
Looking Ahead With Purpose
The trust has been built with long-term educational growth in mind. Its future direction includes supporting additional schools, contributing towards a girls college, and helping develop an army-preparation academy, while keeping those plans general until formally progressed.
In Australia, the long-term vision includes supporting the expansion of the Canberra initiative towards a fuller school model in the future.
As the trust grows, its aim is to expand carefully, support sustainably, and continue building educational opportunities that are practical, credible, and beneficial for the communities it serves.
